According to the scriptures, there is a different effect of lizard falling on different parts of men and women. If a lizard falls on the left part of a woman, then the result will be auspicious, but it is considered inauspicious if it falls on the right. In men it is the exact opposite. If a lizard falls on someone’s navel, then it is considered very auspicious and some big wish is going to be fulfilled.

- Lizard falling on the right knee is a sign of an auspicious journey, while falling on the left knee is a loss of good fortune.
- Lizard falling on the right foot and right heel means travel gives benefits. Falling on the left foot or left heel will cause illness or discord in the house and cause misery.
- Lizard falling on the sole of the right foot means attainment of opulence. Whereas falling on the sole of the left foot leads to loss in business.
- If a lizard comes in front of you while having copulation, then it is considered very auspicious and there are signs of getting some great news.
- While entering the house, if you hear the sound of a lizard, it is a good sign and you will get money soon.
- If you are going out somewhere and you are getting the sound of lizard from the east, north side, then it is a good sign that people with jobs will get promotion and money will be there.
- If lizards are seen fighting among themselves, then there may be a fight with someone in the family.
- If, while getting out of bed in the morning, the person’s eyes fall on the lizard climbing upwards on the wall, then it is considered an auspicious omen, it is a sign of progress of the person.
