There is a Prem Mandir (Temple) in Vrindavan, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, India. This temple is so amazing that the devotees and tourists who come here keep on saying Radhe – Radhe. This temple has been built by Jagadguru Kripalu Ji Maharaj in 54 acres. The foundation stone of this temple was laid on 14 January 2001 and its opening ceremony ran from 15 February to 17 February 2012. This temple has greenery all around, gardens, fountains. In this temple, Govardhan Parvat is shown raised by Lord Krishna from a finger. How Lord Krishna swings swing, visuals of Kalia Nag Daman Leela, etc. have been made by the craftsmen.
Shri Radha Govind’s couplets are written on smooth strips of marble. There is a beautiful idol of Lord Shri Krishna and Radha in the temple, whose mind gets delighted by seeing it. The first floor has the idol of Shri Ram and Sita ji and right in front of it is the idol of Jagatguru Kripalu Ji Maharaj.
According to Kripalu Ji Maharaj, till the power of love in the whole world will not attain the highest position, the spiritual welfare of the world is not possible until this temple was built for this purpose. A prem mandir has been built so that all the people in the world can communicate the feeling of love. Radha-Krishna’s Raslila is described on the walls of this temple.
The grandeur of this temple increases more at night. The temple lights up with colorful lights. There is different color lighting on the temple, due to which the view of the temple looks very attractive and very beautiful. There is also a fountain show every evening for about half an hour. The entire temple and campus glow in the lighting.
The temple opened on 17 February 2012 to see God. The temple is built at a cost of 150 crores rupees (23 million dollars). A 73,000 ft, dome-shaped satsang hall is also built near this temple which can accommodate 25,000 people simultaneously.
In this temple, the craftsmen have embodied the pastimes of Shri radha and Krishna. This temple is an amazing spiritual structure of Vrindavan.
The height of this temple is 125 ft, with 190 ft long and 128 ft wide bandstand. The bandstand is circled way.
The walls of this temple are 3.25 ft thick and the wall of the house is 8 ft thick with a golden urn and flag on it. There are 84 pillars in this temple.
The view of Lord Krishna raised the Govardhan mountain on the junior finger is seen in this temple. There is a visible sight of water falling from Govardhan mountain.
There are a lot of Radha-Krishna’s treasures in this temple which fascinates the mind. There is an influx of people who snap photos here. This temple has been constructed according to Shrimad Bhagavad Gita.
